Here is a recent TV mounting Montopolis Austin job by Bat City TV. Montopolis is a historic southeast Austin neighborhood east of I-183 along the Colorado River, near East Riverside and the Airport Boulevard corridor. When a Montopolis resident reached out to Bat City TV about mounting their 60-inch TV, the goal was simple: get it on the wall and get the cords covered so the room felt clean and put together.

The install was a 60-inch TV mounted on the wall with the cables managed in a surface-mounted cord cover, a paintable raceway that runs along the wall from the TV down to the outlet. We mounted the TV level and secure at a comfortable viewing height for the room’s seating, using the right hardware for the wall. The cord cover was measured and cut to length and pressed flat against the wall, with the HDMI and power cables routed through the channel. From normal viewing distance in the Montopolis living room, the result looked deliberate: a 60-inch display on the wall with the cords out of sight, done without opening up the wall.

Cord covers are a practical solution for anyone who wants a cleaner TV setup without the complexity or cost of in-wall cable routing. The difference between a cord cover that looks professional and one that looks like an afterthought comes down to a few details: using the right profile width for the number of cables, cutting lengths so there are no gaps at the ends, keeping corner pieces clean, and painting the cover to match the wall color. The Montopolis homeowner ended up with a finished result that covered every cord.

Cord covers are a good starting point, and in-wall power or full cable routing can be added later. Bat City TV can handle surface cord covers, in-wall power and cable management, and soundbar installation, and we can supply TVs as an authorized Samsung, LG, Sony, and Sonos dealer. Montopolis neighbors in East Riverside, South Riverside, Travis Heights, and the 183 corridor are all in our service area.
