Here is a recent fireplace TV mounting Lakeway job by Bat City TV. Lakeway is one of the most desirable communities along the Lake Travis corridor — a master-planned enclave west of Austin with scenic hill country views, waterfront access, and generously sized homes that attract families and professionals who want the best of the Texas Hill Country lifestyle without sacrificing proximity to the city. The living rooms in Lakeway are built to entertain, and the fireplace wall is almost always the focal point of the room. When a Lakeway homeowner reached out to Bat City TV about mounting their 75-inch TV above the fireplace with a Sonos soundbar installed below, the goal was a complete, polished audio-visual setup worthy of the home it was going into. That’s exactly what we delivered.

The install was a 75-inch TV mounted above the fireplace with a Sonos soundbar installed directly below the screen and all wiring concealed completely. We planned the mounting height around the fireplace before a single anchor went into the wall. The bracket was mounted with the right hardware for the wall, the TV was hung and leveled, and the Sonos soundbar was mounted below on a dedicated bracket positioned for the room. All HDMI, power, and audio cables were routed completely out of sight, leaving the fireplace wall clean from top to bottom — nothing visible but the TV, the soundbar, and the mantel below.

A Sonos soundbar above or below a fireplace-mounted TV requires careful positioning — the soundbar needs to project audio into the room at the right height without the fireplace creating acoustic interference or heat exposure. We assess the specific soundbar model, the room dimensions, and the fireplace configuration before recommending bracket height and placement. As an authorized Sonos dealer, Bat City TV can also help with the Sonos app setup. By the time we pack up, the Lakeway homeowner had their Sonos system paired and ready to use.

Bat City TV is an authorized Sonos dealer — we carry the full Sonos lineup including the Arc, Beam, Ray, and Era series, and we can help you choose the right soundbar for your TV size, room dimensions, and audio preferences before we ever show up. This Lakeway install is a great example of the complete Bat City TV experience: TV mounting, soundbar installation, and everything wired cleanly in a single visit. Neighbors in Bee Cave, Steiner Ranch, Spicewood, and the Lake Travis corridor are all in our regular service area, and we mount TVs over fireplaces with Sonos soundbars throughout the area.
