Here is a recent TV mounting Bryker Woods Austin job by Bat City TV. Bryker Woods is a central Austin neighborhood of bungalows and cottages between Rosedale, Allandale, and Tarrytown along 35th Street, near Pease Park. When a Bryker Woods homeowner reached out to Bat City TV about mounting their 65-inch TV and installing a soundbar below it, the goal was a clean, complete setup: TV at the right height, soundbar underneath, and everything looking like it was always meant to be there.

The install was a 65-inch TV mounted on the wall with a soundbar installed directly below the display, a two-piece setup that called for planning both mount positions before anything went into the wall. We set the TV bracket for a comfortable viewing height from the room’s seating arrangement, then planned the soundbar mount position relative to the TV so the vertical spacing worked for both the viewing angle and the sound. Both mounts were installed with the right hardware for the wall, the TV was leveled, and the soundbar was secured below the screen. The cabling between the TV and soundbar was dressed cleanly so nothing dangled between the two. The Bryker Woods homeowner ended up with a finished, cohesive setup.

A TV and soundbar mounted together on the same wall take more planning than either one alone. The soundbar position relative to the TV affects both the look of the setup and the cable management: too close to the TV and routing the cables between them gets complicated, too far and the soundbar looks disconnected from the display. We plan both mount positions together before drilling, using the TV size, the soundbar dimensions, and the room’s seating height to decide where each bracket goes. That planning is the difference between a setup that looks deliberate and one that looks improvised.
