Rollingwood is one of the most exclusive addresses in the Austin metro — a small, leafy enclave just west of Zilker Park and the Barton Creek greenbelt, where custom estates sit on large lots and the residents expect the very best on every project they take on. The homes here are built with formal living rooms, vaulted ceilings, and architectural stone or tile fireplaces that anchor the entire space. Standard-issue TV installs don’t belong in houses like these. So when a Rollingwood homeowner reached out about mounting a 65″ Samsung Frame TV Pro above their tile fireplace, we knew it was the kind of install where the finished product had to look every bit as considered as the rest of the home.

The fireplace surround was polished tile — beautiful, unforgiving, and one of the harder surfaces in our trade to drill cleanly. We carbide drilled the tile with precision diamond bits, pre-marked every anchor point, and used heavy-duty masonry anchors rated well above the load of the Frame Pro. The included Slim Fit Wall Mount was set perfectly flush against the surround so the TV sits the way Samsung designed it to — almost flat against the wall like a real frame. The One Connect cable was routed through the wall behind the tile to a recessed power outlet relocated below the mantle, eliminating any visible cable. With the homeowner’s art loaded into Art Mode, the finished result looked like a framed painting hanging over the fireplace — exactly what the Frame Pro is built for.

Tile fireplace installs are technically demanding for three reasons: one cracked tile costs hundreds to replace and weeks to source, the wrong anchor in masonry will pull a TV out of the wall under its own weight, and you have to manage heat rise from the firebox below. Add a Frame Pro to the mix and the bar goes up further — Samsung’s One Connect system uses a single thin cable that’s designed to be routed inside the wall, not draped across the mantle, and the Slim Fit Wall Mount has to sit perfectly flush for the TV to read as art rather than electronics. None of this is something an untrained installer should attempt on a Rollingwood-grade home. We’ve done hundreds of fireplace installs across Austin, and the Frame Pro over tile is one of the installs we genuinely look forward to because every detail compounds into the finished look.

Bat City TV is an authorized Samsung dealer, which means we sell, source, and install the entire Frame TV and Frame Pro lineup at competitive dealer pricing — along with every other Samsung model including Neo QLED, OLED, and standard QLED. We’re also authorized dealers for LG, Sony, and Sonos. Common pairings on a Frame Pro install of this caliber include in-wall power relocation, Sonos Beam or Arc Ultra integration tied to the TV via HDMI eARC, and custom art subscription setup so the TV cycles curated artwork. Our Rollingwood service area covers West Lake Hills, Westlake, Tarrytown, Lost Creek, Barton Creek, and the surrounding west and central Austin neighborhoods.
