The setup was a 65″ TV mounted on a low-profile fixed wall mount with a matching soundbar mounted directly below. We located the studs, set the mount level and centered on the wall, and anchored everything into solid framing so the TV was carrying its 60-70 pound weight safely. The soundbar was mounted below with exact spacing and a level laser line — close enough that you don’t see the gap, consistent enough that the two pieces read as one composition. Cables were managed cleanly down to the equipment location, the soundbar was connected via HDMI eARC for full audio passthrough from the TV, and everything was tested from where the homeowner actually sits on the couch. Finished install: a 65″ TV and soundbar reading as one intentional element on the wall, exactly matching the care the rest of the renovated bungalow had already been given.

The TV has to be anchored into studs with a mount rated for the load — a 65″ TV weighs 60-70 pounds and drywall anchors alone will fail under the cantilevered weight over time. The level has to be dialed to the eye from the couch, which sometimes differs from level on a tool when walls aren’t perfectly plumb. The spacing between the TV and soundbar has to be consistent across the width and visually balanced — off by half an inch and the whole composition looks slightly wrong even if no one can say exactly why. And the cable management has to be planned rather than afterthought, because exposed cables in a finished room are the first thing a homeowner notices when they sit down. Do all of that carefully and the install looks like it belongs. Skip any of it and it doesn’t.
